The best time to raft Browns Canyon depends on the experience you seek. If you’re looking for a wilder ride, it’s best to go during spring runoff from late-May through June. If you want a milder trip it’s best to book for July or August. If you want solitude, find it in early spring or late fall.

What to bring on your Browns Canyon rafting trip?

All River Runners adventures include PFDs, helmets, paddles, wetsuits, splash tops, wet shoes and first aid. It’s also recommended you bring base layers (such as polypro or other quick-dry fabrics), sun glasses (straps sold at River Runners), sun block, water bottle and board shorts.
